| ICOM and ICOM/CECA '07 Participation | |
The Vienna ICOM General Conference was attended by 2631 delegates from 117 countries. ICOM/CECA’07 also brought a record number of participants (that is for CECA meetings during an ICOM General Conference). We were 220 delegates from 49 countries. Thanks again for this good turn up, which also helped gain new CECA members!
I would like to express my gratitude for all the valuable contributions which you as ICOM/CECA’07 presenters, discussants or chairs made.
Some of the logistics in Vienna were a bit demanding. The more, I was glad that most of you had had done your preparations carefully and on time.
ICOM/CECA’07 proceedings
We are in the process of finding a publishing house.
Once that is done, I will be able to furnish more details about the format and production of the publication.
The preliminary schedule looks like this:
November 15 2007: Authors submit their paper
February 15 2008: The authors receive suggestions from the referees
March 15 2008: Deadline for the authors to send the revised paper
Summer 2008: Publication of ICOM/CECA’07 Proceedings
The ICOM/CECA'07-Conference proceedings are to be published with a Viennese publishing house, and should be ready for presentation at the Annual CECA-Conference, 2008 in Montreal.
As I will prepare different reports and the conference proceedings, it would be good of you to send photographs for documenting the ICOM/CECA’07-event. Thanks in advance!
